2 Tsp Cumin Powder
2 fruit without seeds Lemons, raw, with peel
1 cup Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached
2 tsp Salt, table
1 Tsp Pepper
1 cup (8 fl oz) Yogurt, plain, low fat, 12 grams protein per 8 ounce
2 Tbsp Garam Masala or Paprika
2 Lbs Salmon
1 Cup Vegetable Oil
Cut Salmon in 4 inch bite size pieces or whatever suits well.
Combine Salmon with Yogurt, Salt, Pepper, Garam Masala or Paprika, Cumin Powder and 1/2 tsp Red Food Coloring in a bowl.
Marinate for couple of hours in the fridge.
Heat Oil in a pan.
Lightly dredge marinated salmon in flour.
Fry Salmon till golden brown on both side in medium heat.
Let cool for 2 min and serve over a bed of lettuce and lemon wedges on the side.
To make a sandwich:
Toast Croissant and put Salmon, lettuce, tomatoes and favorite dressing.
Cut it in half and serve with sweet potato fries.
